Walter Reuther, labor leader and world-wide champion for social justice,
lived with his wife May and two daughters in Oakland Township from
1950 to 1970. The Reuthers were involved in conservation efforts back
then to clean up Paint Creek as well as other community projects in our
area. Learn more about the Reuthers on these pages taken from our exhibit
at the Paint Creek Cider Mill in historic Goodison.
Visit the Mill for cider and donuts as well…on beautiful Paint Creek.
